Tequila
Warm and earthy
Burns into my soul
I am lost in the moonlight
Then we dance
We dance and I don’t care
I breathe your scent
Our sweat runs together
And I can taste the salt on my lips
My body pressed up against yours
Then I am spinning,
spinning and spinning
Lights, faces, colors flash past my eyes
The room is a blur, and Oh the heat!
The world has stopped
It is I that am spinning,
Spinning and spinning
There is nothing else.

Spinning and spinning and spinning makes me mind dizzy. Talk I cannot straight. Moment please give me.
Okay, I'm better now. I think your latest post is ... caught in the moment. You know, catches the reader in the moment of the dance.
I wrote a poem called "Flamenco," also. How weird! Its like we're sisters or something...
OK, I did understand this one too, but poetry has always been hard for me to follow--must be the scientist in me. Definitely feeling uncomfortable here?!!?
